LED Spotlights in Malaysia
LED spotlights are the cleanest way to add directional accent lighting to a room — pointing light at art, architecture, retail product or a dining table without lighting the whole ceiling. We stock surface, recessed, gimbal and track-mounted spotlights for residential, commercial and hospitality projects across Klang Valley.
Where LED spotlights work best
- Living rooms and dining rooms — point spotlights at art, plants or a feature wall to create depth without over-lighting.
- Kitchens — under-cabinet and overhead spotlights give shadow-free task light at the sink and prep surfaces.
- Retail showrooms — narrow-beam spotlights pull attention to product. Use 3000K for warm goods and 4000K for crisp, modern displays.
- Hotels and restaurants — dimmable spotlights with high CRI (95+) make food and skin tones look correct.
- Galleries — adjustable gimbals plus high CRI and low UV preserves artwork while highlighting it.
Surface, recessed, gimbal and track — which to choose?
Recessed spotlights sit flush in the ceiling for the cleanest look. Best when ceilings have at least 80–100mm of plenum depth and you can plan the cut-outs in advance.
Surface-mount spotlights screw onto the ceiling surface and need no cut-out — ideal for concrete ceilings, retrofit projects or spaces with no plaster line.
Gimbal spotlights tilt and rotate, letting you re-aim the beam after install. Use them on feature walls, art or anywhere the focal point may move.
Track-mounted spotlights share a rail and a driver, so you can add, remove or slide heads along the track. See our magnetic track light range for the modern DC 48V version.
Colour temperature, CRI and beam angle
Colour temperature — 3000K (warm white) suits living rooms and hospitality; 4000K (neutral white) suits kitchens, offices and retail; 6000K (cool white) suits workshops and industrial spaces.
CRI — Colour Rendering Index. CRI 80 is the minimum for general lighting; CRI 90+ is what you want over food, art, fabrics or skin. Galleries and high-end retail should specify CRI 95+.
Beam angle — narrow (15–24°) for accent spotlighting on small targets; medium (36°) for general accent work; wide (60°+) when the spotlight is acting more like a downlight. We carry interchangeable reflectors on selected ranges.
See them in person
Beam angle and colour temperature are hard to judge from a photograph. Our Bandar Sri Damansara showroom has live displays — come in to compare 3000K vs 4000K vs 6000K side by side, and to see what 24° vs 36° vs 60° beams actually look like on a wall.
